About Us

The Founders of Miami Ad School

This global network of schools is hardly a mom & pop operation, but there is a Mom & Dad of Miami Ad School. Ron & Pippa Seichrist gave birth to this innovative concept in 1993 and are still very involved in the constant evolution of the school. We partner with the industry to create the most unique portfolio program possible that reflects the latest needs of global advertising agencies and brands. The atmosphere is a little kooky, but when you walk into a Miami Ad School anywhere in the world, you’ll feel at home. You’ll be surrounded by friendly people gathered in small groups brainstorming ideas or concepting over a game of ping pong. Chances are you’ll also be met by a happy wagging dog. As a student, you enter a very large, close family and graduate over prepared with a great portfolio and global, real-world experience.

Her experience spans across several industries, working on brands like Coca-Cola, Mercedes-Benz, RBC and Expedia. Outside of Grip Limited and Miami Ad School, she spends her time volunteering, laughing (a lot) and drinking wine (a little). Ask her about her book club(s).
Katherine Pendrill

Katherine Pendrill

After finishing her BA at the University of Guelph and her MA at Queen’s University, Katherine moved to Toronto to kickstart her content writing career. She now works as the Miami Ad School’s chief wordsmith and social media guru, helping find the perfect words for every project. Outside the office, you’re likely to find her lost in the stacks at the public library or out on Queen Street petting (other people’s) dogs.
Andrew Pieroni

Andrew Pieroni

Graphic Designer + Content Creator

Andrew graduated from the YSDN program in Design at York University and Sheridan College in 2014, and has since tried to wear as many hats as he can: Designer, Videographer, Editor, Artist and Photographer to name a few. Usually fuelled by black coffee and the determination to create something new everyday, he bounces from one creative project to the next as a visual storyteller. When Andrew is not working, you might find him drinking craft beer on a canoe in the middle of a lake somewhere.
Andrea Davidova

Andrea Davidova

Project Manager

Andrea’s MA in Statistics and eight years of experience in market research sparked her interest in psychology and brand strategy. The world around her is defined by Jung’s Archetypes and psychological thrillers are her first choice. Here at Miami Ad School Toronto, she applies her managerial skills and focus on detail to keep all of us in line. Toronto’s architecture inspired Andrea to fully explore her passion for photography, so you’ll likely see her looking up when taking in the beauty of the Arts and Crafts movement’s local creations.

Carri Chen

Carri Chen

Admissions Coordinator

Carri gets the comment “You look older than your age,” way too often. Always with a bright smile, she is open to new stories and meeting new faces. Along with the growth of the Toronto school, Carri has gone from young intern to Admissions Coordinator. She enjoys an array of activities and being creative because she’s in the ongoing process of finding herself. She is still completing her undergrad at Ryerson’s RTA Media Production Program. When asked, she will definitely say that she has not defined who she is or where she’s going, but as regardless of the outcome, it’s the journey that she allows herself to indulge in and enjoy.
Ayesha Ali

Ayesha Ali

Administrative Assistant

Ayesha is currently studying Marketing and Strategy in the Rotman Commerce program at the University of Toronto. She loves all things fashion, watching way too many food competition shows and can’t shut up about skincare no matter how hard she tries. You’ll probably find her running around doing admin work and making posts for the school’s social media sites. Either that, or analyzing everyone’s zodiac sign (it’s probably because she’s such a scorpio). She’s probably the first face you’ll see when you walk through the door, so make sure to say hi!
